I’m an actual DJ. So I use real equipment. Whether it be two turntables and a mixer, or a professional DJ Controller, take solace in the fact that I’m not just “pressing play”.
What’s a DJ without a PA system? There are many times where DJs have to rent speakers from a company, and it looks horrible in photos, and/or there’s not enough sound to fill the venue. With the amount of experience he has, he’ll make sure your event has sufficient sound.
Lighting. Something typically what is forgotten when trying to hire a DJ for your event. With enough uplighting to fill your venue, and dancefloor lighting for the party, you’ll feel like your event just turned into a nightclub (without all the drunks trying to pick you up when the lights turn on).

That’s a vague question. Every event is different, with different needs. It depends on what the event is, how many guests, how much equipment, travel, etc. Use the form on the right to book a consultation with Markoshi!
Honestly, you’re more than welcome to use a Spotify playlist, but the mood won’t be there for an event - especially a wedding or corporate function. People who thought about using Spotify for their event have actually scrapped that idea once they heard Markoshi at other events.
If you use Spotify, you may as well get takeout food to serve your guests at your wedding or event. Haha jk.
If you’re a booking agent, nightclub manager or owner, you’d want the best DJ representing your brand. Don’t do it with half-assed DJs.
Markoshi is an open-format DJ. That means he can play anything, and make sure the flow is still there. There’s a lot of local DJs that say that can DJ, but only cater to one type of crowd. There are also a lot of DJs from Facebook Marketplace or Kijiji, but have never played a club. Markoshi is NOT a wedding or a corporate DJ, but rather a nightclub DJ that can actually play weddings or corporate functions.
Markoshi is a RANE DJ through and through. He uses Rane TWELVE turntables, a Rane SEVENTY Mixer, or for smaller events, the Rane ONE DJ Controller.
In terms of sound, in most cases he will use a 4000W line array speaker system, and can bring extra bass bins to fill the room with more thump.
Most mobile or new DJs don’t take the time to invest in their lighting. With Markoshi, you’ll get a wireless DMX LED lightshow, uplighting for the venue, with the ability to match your event colors to the lights.
